Ben Assad Mirza has an extensive legal and financial skillset that he uses to the advantage of his healthcare business clients, ranging from large hospital systems to small physician-preneurs and a variety of healthcare service companies (i.e. software, durable medical equipment, labs, imaging centers, surgical centers, etc.). Although Ben’s forte is healthcare collection of significant monies from payors, his firm is focused on physician contracting, hospital privileges, M&A, shareholder agreements, real property transactions and leases, construction contracts, audits and litigation.
Seeing that there is a significant gap in healthcare attorneys who truly understand the strategy, financial, and regulatory pressures healthcare organizations are under, Ben Mirza founded Healthcare Law Partners, LLC along with his father. Ben previously worked in-house for large and small hospital systems, physician groups, insurance plans, and other healthcare-related businesses. Ben was formerly a Certified Healthcare Compliance (CHC) officer and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He holds a Masters of Public Health & Administration from Yale University; a Masters of Law (LL.M.) in Taxation and concentration in Mergers & Acquisitions from Villanova University; a Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University; and a Bachelors in Accounting from Florida International University. Ben has served as a volunteer and counsel to associations like the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) of South Florida, National Association of Health Services Executives (NAHSE) of Florida, and Indian Physicians of Florida (IPOF), Dade County Medical Association and Broward County Medical Association, including others across the state of Florida.
